Product Description
Self-aligning ball bearings have two rows of balls and a common sphered raceway in the outer ring. Consequently, the bearings are self-aligning and insensitive to angular misalignment of the shaft relative to the housing. They are particularly suitable for applications where considerable shaft deflections or misalignment are to be expected. Additionally, self-aligning ball bearings have the lowest friction of all rolling bearings, enabling them to maintain lower temperatures even at high rotational speeds.
