Features of KT Series Needle Roller Bearings
Under operating conditions involving complex loads and high rotational speeds, needle roller and cage assemblies must withstand significant centrifugal forces, impacts, and vibrations. Substantial sliding friction occurs between the cage and the rolling elements, generating a considerable amount of heat. The combined effects of mechanical stress and heat can lead to cage failure, potentially causing the cage assembly to burn or fracture. Therefore, the cage must possess excellent thermal conductivity, wear resistance, elasticity, rigidity, and manufacturability. It also requires a low coefficient of friction and low density, an optimal balance of strength and toughness, and a coefficient of thermal expansion closely matching that of the rolling elements.
