General-Purpose Self-Lubricating Bearings
Material Overview:
This product is constructed with a high-quality low-carbon steel backing, an intermediate sintered porous bronze layer, and a surface layer featuring a rolled mixture of PTFE and lead (Pb). It offers excellent self-lubricating, wear-resistant, and low-friction properties, fully leveraging the combined advantages of metals and multi-element polymers. In various industrial applications, this product has widely replaced traditional ball bearings, needle roller bearings, and linear bearings.
Scope of Application:
- To save costs on lubrication system design, maintenance, and repair, and to eliminate the hassle of periodic lubrication.
- When bearing friction must be reduced to an absolute minimum.
- When lubricant circulation is ineffective due to low-speed, heavy-load conditions, intermittent operations, or oscillating movements.
- When plastic or other conventional bearings are inadequate due to excessive loads or the inability to maintain dimensional precision.
- When operating under extreme temperatures, ranging from as low as -190°C to as high as +278°C.
- For applications submerged in liquids such as water or chemicals, or in steam environments.
- When the use of lubricants would cause contamination, or when other types of bearings are otherwise unsuitable.
Superior Performance Characteristics:
- The bearing surface has extremely low static and dynamic coefficients of friction, ensuring smooth radial and axial sliding without lubrication and preventing the stick-slip phenomenon. It can also be used in lubricated environments.
- Features a wide operating temperature range from -190°C to +278°C.
- Highly suitable for heavy loads, shock loads, intermittent operations, and oscillating movements.
- Anti-static properties. (The electrical resistance upon assembly is within the range of 1 to 9 ohms per cm² of contact area, preventing static electricity buildup).
- The bearing surface offers excellent chemical resistance. It does not corrode when exposed to various industrial chemicals and gases, and remains unaffected by solvents such as petroleum and alcohol.
- Does not damage or score the mating shaft surface.
- Exceptionally long service life.
- Lightweight and thin-walled (wall thickness of 1 to 3 mm), saving space and enabling highly compact and lightweight equipment designs.

- Quiet and noise-free operation.
- Completely maintenance-free (no lubrication required).
